As a young Tinker enthusiast, would you like to learn how to present a horse properly? Then join the NSvT's Junior Frontrunner!
An official handler from the studbook will first give a short clinic, explaining and demonstrating what is expected of you. After that, you will get to work yourself!

Age groups:
- Group 1: 5 to 8 years
- Group 2: 9 to 14 years
- Group 3: 15 to 17 years

All groups require an adult booster (someone to walk along and help from a distance).

For group 1, an adult companion is additionally required. This youngest group does not have to trot.

The aim is for participants to perform their task independently as much as possible.

We recommend the use of a cap, during showing

Which horse can come along?
- A colt, twenter, mare (possibly with foal on the string) or gelding
- No stallions allowed
- The horse must meet the breed standard of the Tinker

Participants enter the track one by one and show walk and (if applicable) trot. Judging is based on an official NSvT form.
Each participant will receive a medal and rosette to take home!
Next Junior Frontrunner is at the Central Inspection 2026.
A great opportunity for young enthusiasts to gain experience, have fun and proudly display their Tinker!
